History
Issyk Valley is an amazing, unique place in the foothills of the Trans-Ili Alatau ridge. A wonderful island with favorable climatic conditions at an altitude of 850 m above sea level.
The history of the region goes back centuries. According to the historical records, the valley was a busy section of the Great Silk Road of the 6th–7th centuries. The millennial dialogue of civilizations influenced the cultural heritage represented by magnificent examples. For example, archaeologists discovered here the Golden Man (Altyn Adam), the famous remains of a Saka warrior in golden armor.
